Hey Boss Lady,
I see you working hard to be the best woman there is while trying to get your work done. It can be tough with the constant distractions from kids, household chores or co-workers. I know because I lived it. I’ve been a lawyer for 10 years and a mom for 9. I left the practice of law because I wanted to create a safe, community space for working women. A space that felt like a breath of fresh air and a kick in the pants to get the work done all while surrounded by women who get it.

Being an entreprenuer , I was building something new by myself and felt alone in the process. It is refreshing to be in a space where other women are pursuing their passions at the same time even if not together .
Being a mom with two young kids, my identity was shifting and with all of the love and attention to others, I felt lonely. WIT provides access to women supporting women.
My traditional office environment created lots of interruptions from employees and colleagues. I can walk into WIT and stay focused because the discreet environment stimulates my productivity .
As a stay-at-home mom , it is so nice to go somewhere out of my house to focus on one or two things and not be distracted by the laundry or dishes.
I work a 8-5, I have kids at home, I always felt like I was doing a mediocre job at both. When I walk into WIT I can take a deep breath and know that the group of women there understand this season of life. It just makes the work a little bit easier.
I never knew that self care could mean having a pretty place to do it all: I can get work done, meet friends, learn new things.
Mission: WIT exists to give passionate women in our community an inviting retreat-like workspace to feel comfortable, productive and empowered.
Vision: WIT is a well appointed space for women to produce inspired professional and personal work; WIT is an exclusive gathering a place for friends and clients to pioneer new passions; WIT is always a stomping ground for some cheeky fun.
WIT’s mantra, putting a pretty bow on hard work, came from my admiration of the women in my community who are changing the world in their daily efforts. My contribution to that effort is curating a beautiful environment to nurture their handiwork.
